Hey everyone! Today I would like to reviewing an Indonesian Makeup called "My Beauty Story". I honestly didn't know about this brand until the famous Sasyachi using their products for her makeup tutorials. So last week I decided to try their High brow—Eyebrow Micro Matic that claimed to be precise, waterproof and long lasting.
This pencil is actually manufactured in Germany and the positive thing is they are free from animal testing, which is hard to find in most of cosmetics now. I am a supporter for everything that animal friendly (not using animal for the products/for testing) but somehow can't help because many branded and good cosmetics use animals for tested which is so sad to know.
The pencil came with brush in the other end which make it easier to use. I don't know it is just me or what but I do feel that the pencil's texture isn't really creamy so it is not that smooth to glide and you could feel the 'sharpness' of the pencil slightly. However that also will help you to draw the end of your eyebrow easier.
The only color available now is Dark Brown which will suitable for most of people. But the thing is, I feel the brown color is coming with slightly red-ish and it's what I found in most of drugstore eyebrow pencils :/
When I applied on my brow maybe the reddish didn't really show up because my eyebrow isn't totally bald. I use brow pencils just to fill in so they will look sharp and neat.

You can find their products in Watsons and other drugstores (they have quite stockist) or the easiest way is directly on their website as they do have online purchasing service.
- Wise price
The biggest point, eh? lol. There're so many good things out there but if you can't buy it then it's useless, right? and I personally won't splurge on eyebrow pencil as my eyebrow isn't totally bald (I can use eyeshadow just to fill in) and this one is good enough for only 95k IDR so why not?
- Coming with brush
This is what every eyebrow pencils should come so no need to buy separate brush.
- Long lasting & waterproof
I use this pencil to play in the beach when I came to Bali and it really is long lasting until you smudge it. I just tap my face with towel when my face was wet and it was fine. Nothings come off.

- Red-ish brown color
As I mention before, you maybe couldn't see it on my eyebrow but I do think the color is slightly (just slightly) red.
- Not that creamy
If you a fan of creamy, easy to glides pencils maybe this is not really your thing because this pencils is sharp and really like pencil not crayon-ish pencil. However like what I said, because it's not that creamy, it'll help you to shaping your end of eyebrow a lot easier.
-Packaging?
Haha this is really personal thing. As I don't like girlish and 'too-sweet' design so their packaging design isn't my thing. But if you are a fan of sweet, girlish and princess-like thing then give it a go :)
