GHD Eclipse in white

I don't know why suddenly I have many things to post since I create this blog *need to steal some time to do that!* I swear that usually my life is so plain, nothing to tell and I rarely have new things to review because I love my savings a little too much. Anyway, last monday was a great monday because my package arrived <3. Yes, yes, it was this magic wand, which can do its job like a magic. Fast and safe. Maybe it's already too late for some of you since the newest now is GHD Platinum. However I still prefer my Eclipse because the design is better and price is wiser~

Honestly when I buy something, the first thing that I look for is its color and design. Forgive me to not giving the first point to quality-san. But it not means I will buy something with great designs yet poor quality because it'll just be a garbage. I want them both: great design and best quality -> that's why am very picky and really hard to purchase something lol. Beside I don't want to threw away my money easily, I don't want to fill my room/cabinet with things that I don't use even though it's nice to look—whats the point to only look but don't like to use it? unless it's a decoration, right?

So, around 2 months ago I thought I need a new straightener to replace my broken one and I decided to go look for GHD and Glampalm. Both are great for its quality and everyone knows they are the best for hair ironing things. Glampalm is easier to search and cheaper so I search for that first. But duh, because I always look for color and design first, I see glampalm as nothing special (though they could do my hair like a magic also) until I came across GHD Eclipse. and they have white color. and because white is my very very first favorite color after black. and because I want my straightener have same color as my hair dryer lol. and there are so many 'because' to buy it except for the price. And well, I spent some weeks to thinking only until my friend was kind enough to grant my wish to bring it back from Australia so I could save around 25% from the price in Jakarta. How nice of her T x T

It was my first time purchasing something from GHD so kinda surprised to see the packaging. It is as beautiful as the straightener design, as good as the quality itself.

The result for only 15 minutes. I just dry my hair without round brush after washed it. It really works like magic wand. I love it. Remember when I told you that my hair is coarse-textured and messy if I didn't blow-dry it properly? Click the picture to look closer!

- Fast to be so hot

You don't need to wait for it to be so hot. Really. Just plug in, push the button and 1-2 seconds later you'll hear that's-so-wow sound and voila. It's already really hot.

- Safe with sleeping mode

Will automatically switch off after 30 minutes not used. Helpful for you who often forget to unplug!

- Lights and sound to let you know it's ready
When you plug it in, there'll be a momentary flash and it means this straightener is in standby mode. Push & hold the ghd button for 1sec. and it'll play that's-so-wow sound followed by lights which pulse every 2sec means it is heating up. So cool, don't you think!? xD

- Beautiful design with super fine, precision-finished plates

"super fine and precision-finished for ultimate heat transfer, efficiency, consistent heat transfer and smooth, snag-free styling" claimed in the web and that's what I really feel when use it. You will not waste so much time and it'll be lasting for at least 12+ hours.

- Tri-zone™ technology

I knew this before I buy and if I didn't know beforehand maybe I'll not aware of this. This technology uses six quick-thinking sensors (three on each plate) claimed to ensure the ideal and maintained constant temperature in each stroke. Maybe that's why we only need single stroke for the hair to be really neat.

The one and only minus thing is price. Really. I love everything starts from the packaging, color, design, quality, even the silicon cover (which we usually never get when we buy straightener). Every good stuffs often comes with high price, indeed *sob*

Then am trying to use it for curling. I usually prefer curling with straightener although sometimes I still use curling iron. sorry for bad lightning :x  Since the design is real slim so there's no problem in grabbing.
