Well, I rarely watch anime actually but if I did, those must be a real good anime! And I never have an idea that anime talk will be my second blog post lol. For Japan lovers out there especially anime otaku guys, who don't know about this famous "TOKYO GHOUL" ? I honestly didn't really into anime like I said before and that's why I don't know much about TG before I watched it. And how come I watched it? Because my favorite cosplayer did Kaneki and Uta <3 *I didn't really into anime but I do adore some cosplayers like, A LOT lol*
Okay, first, the genre of this anime didn't really suit my taste. Horror and Gore. I hate those genres. Plus, I didn't yet read the manga (I'm more into manga than anime person) so I didn't really know a thing before I watched. But how should I put this? The mangaka, Sui Ishida sensei simply is a genius if I may say. The illustrations also fit my taste pretty much. I never really adore those genres but I do enjoy my time while watching this because TG is not a mere anime that contains only entertain things like yaoi, yuri and other weird things going on with standard story line. Why I said Ishida sensei simply is a genius? Because he could make the classic light & dark side of human story become something more different; and smartly adding some real-psychology result when human pressured to the limit (the protagonist Kaneki Ken several times pressured to his own limit until he changed into different character and mental also double or even triple personality *Rize or Jason or just Kaneki?*)

| Awakened Kaneki Ken |
Simply short, what makes this anime is truly great is because it contains not only great story plot but also a strong boundary between friendship (Kaneki and Hide story), some meaningful not cheesy love story and it told us how it really is to have person, who you treasure to the extend it could strengthen yourself. If you are like me, who loves such spices in the stories then TG will be so brilliant for you just like for me! lol
There're two seasons aired until now with 12 episode each; around 25mins/eps.
Season 1 basically telling us about Ghoul (you'll find what is Ghoul when you watched it :p) and pre-awakened Kaneki, who is a human that got Ghoul organ transplanted on his body (his hair is still black and innocent looking compared to people around him) Gore and Horror thingy already started even in ep 1! However, no worries, if I could watched this in 2AM then you sure can watch this safely. Horror in TG is entirely different with The Ring, Shutter and that kind of movies.
Season 2 will tell us more about CCG (something like human organization to counter ghouls), Kaneki that left Anteiku family to be stronger yet already started having double/triple personality each time he fight with ghouls. I feel the story is having a deeper meaning about people connection in season 2 but the ending sucks xD However since this article told that season 3 will airing in 2015 summer, I will pretend the ending is nothing lol.
Tell me what you think of Tokyo Ghoul after you watch it!
While waiting for season 3, I'm starting to read the manga now :)
